Default Quick Question on replacing wheel bearings..

When replacing rear wheel bearings on 00' gs3, is it necessary to install a new hub? Thx to anyone that chimes in!

Sometimes it is necessary to replace the hub. Kinda depends on how bad the bearing is. If the inner parts of the bearing were spinning and wearing the core of the hub down then yes. If the hub looks good and doesn't recieve any damage while pressing the bearing simply re-use.

The hub can also become damaged if you don't torque your lug nuts equally. This would cause a similar feeling as a tire out of balance. I haven't experienced this though
