I've very recently installed the F-Sport springs on my IS and I love the ride and the looks w/out any clunking noise whatsoever (even going through dips and bumps). I didn't even install any rubber pieces nor any silencers. IMO, those noises are cause by inaccurate installation not by the F-/Eibach springs. So I recommend to ya'll that take it to a reputable local mod shop rather than the dealers to save yourself the headache.

lol yours too?? All i ask is that our suspension is still tightly bolted on. I'm afraid the right rear suspension assembly is gonna fall off or something. I don't understand how it would clunk when the spring extends.....

you are way too paranoid. read all the reviews. this is 100% normal. just get silencer sleeves.

Yea, I'm just exaggerating. Do you get the same problem too?

if you are not getting that noise, your springs are not installed right.

Please help by explaining "inaccurate installation" so that installers will know what to watch for.

No way in hell I'm going to another shop. I already spent over $600 at the dealer for the install. I highly doubt dealer did that incorrectly. The only incorrect way is getting the bushing breaking where people mentioned their cars got lowered after a few weeks or refer to as springs settling. Springs aren't supposed to settle.
