Default F-sports clunking only in right rear?

Hey guys,

i know that is normal for the F-sports to clunk on speed bumps. But for my IS, it only clunks in the RIGHT REAR. Why is this?

Thanks!

mine only occurs on harsh bumps on the right rear as well. i've noticed less clunk noise after installing 19in. fsport wheels. other than that, i've managed to just live with it.

Mine is also mostly on right side. When I go over bumps faster I can hear on left too.

Take out your car jack and see if thats the cause of the clunking. It was for mine.

I put silencers on my F-Sport springs before they were installed, and I still heard a little noise. The silencers muffle the noise pretty much. But since I've had mine on for a little over a month now, I don't hear the noise that much anymore.

It clunks in the right rear when you are driving by yourself, right? It has to do with the weight distribution.

Thanks for all the input! As long as my suspension isn't gonna fall apart, I can live with the clunking. So i guess it is normal for some cars to have clunking on both sides and some cars to clunk only on the right side.

It's annoying as hell. I put on 5 packs on the rear set and i'm getting it as well, although, the drop is perfect for me . I'm gonna complain to the dealer as I had them install everything.

They probably can't do jack squad. I got mine installed at dealer too and already raises the question. I'm curious why some hear it and some don't. And people with Eibach which is the same as F-sport don't hear it either.

i also noticed that when i turn right into a driveway at an angle, the right rear springs make a softer clunking noise as they extend (not compress). Can someone confirm this with their car?
