Yes it's cool that you can adjust the height, but are you sure you want to do that every weekend? It's not like you push a button and it drops, you need to lift your car take out the wheels.
I'm not bashing coilover but just not for people that want subtle look.
I agree, and many of us want to retain a decent Lexus-quality ride. And we don't want to have to crawl over speedbumps and angle into driveways like kids in beatup Civics.

As far as I'm concerned for the modest amount of money that I spent on Eibach 350's/F-Sports, this was the best bang for the mod dollar that I've spent.

if you are considering lowering your car...

- coilovers - if you can afford it and need it
- springs - if you can't afford coilovers and/or need coilovers

my $0.02.

Definitely try out springs if need be. The only issue with springs that I had was the advertised' 1.5'' drop still made my original car have a 1.3'' gap.

Not sure how low you want it to go, but for example: springs = 150-200? maybe? shocks = 200-400? maybe? (i'm just throwing numbers out there) which is half as much as megan coils. (but i heard megan coils are loud when hitting bumps)

But then again, you can probably sell those springs and shocks if you don't like em

Ya, tell me about it. I let my x-g/f drive my GTI freshly lowered, with a fresh paint job, and she totally ruined my front end >.> (first week i got it back from the shop),

Has anybody put 250 springs on a 350? Pictures?

Don't nose into parking blocks. Even with my F-sport I check every blocks and it will hit my front lip for sure. There's no clearance even with subtle drop.

I've read on the forums somewhere. Someone actually recommended to do that so you get a lower stance.

Yes tfz hebe89 of California has or had Eibach 250's on his IS350. Pictures can be seen of his car with 2 different types of 19" wheels.

IS-SV, do you happen to have any close up pics of your wheel gaps? I think I'm leaning towards eibach 350's (right now lol) but would like to see how they look...

Not very close picture attached. But 19" wheels (8.5"/9.5" widths) and beefier T1R tires fill (235/35 and 275/30) wheel wells easily.

thanks! this def helps. i guess i need to search around to see if clunking is an issue for some people on 350's. if not, i guess that'll make the decision over f sports.
