Default Power Steering Pressure Switch

There are people that switched to stainless lines so variable power steering is gone the Power Steering Pressure Switch is no longer there and rack just works just fine. i was thinking about installing switch or resistor to get the power assist back.
I found this interesting info

hmm.. interesting.. we are discussing the removal of the PPS in another thread.. This would relieve thoughts of ruining the rack and or pump by disconnecting the power supply.

very details. Kudos to the fella who took the time out..

Do we know how the pressure switch works. From reading there are two types of switches. I wonder if we cut off the plug then place switch or resistor we could have power assist at low speed
