how much do they go for? i have someone locally selling his used set for $700is that a good deal? they have about 30xxx miles on them or less. any reviews on them? lmk

Good price, but they probably need a rebuild. Rebuild costs around $150 a corner. Springs also might be a little saggy. I changed mine to swift coilover springs and dropped the spring rate 2kg front and rear on my hks hipermax pros.

would a rebuild be required? what would a rebuild do? because im just looking for shocks/springs or coilovers to replace my old suspensions right away because my old ones are shot. lmk

Coilovers are wear items. Over time they will leak oil and not function as they should. You can test the shock by removing the top hat and push the rod down. if it does not return back or fluid leaks out, then it needs to be rebuilt. If they have 30K on them thats almost 2 years use. So I would guess at least 1 shock needs to be rebuilt. If you need something that is plug and play I would buy hipermax III new.
