Some people have needed to grind/file down one edge on each of the calipers, others it seems have not had to. I needed to on mine, but seriously it is very easy to do with a dremel, angle grinder or hand file. No biggy.

Yeah thanks.. I'm not worried. I have all those tools as I do a lot of DIY that i've done in the past even engine swaps on MR2, S13 etc....
Here are some updated pix of the painted calipers

Not really... I was working on the car and had the rear jacked up... Put the jack down but did not release the hand brakes. Its pretty even as you can see in my signature down below

Hey man,
If it is not too much trouble, can you measure the caliper piston diameter and post it. If you get the same measurements off your stock calipers, then I'll be glad to figure out the difference in clamping force for you.

Not exactly sure what you mean. The LS400 calipers has 4 pistons. I just measured the diameter and its 1.5" inch. I'm guessing the stock SC400 calipers is the same but only 2 pistons.

Picked up the rotors today at R1Concepts. Probably not much difference really but I spent the extra $$$ to get the Premium line they have.
1998 LS400 Front Rotors & 1999 SC400 Rear Rotors
Here are some pictures.... Too lazy to put them on so i'll try this weekend before "The Pursuit"
