Default Quick question to IS350 owners about your brakes

For you IS350 owners with stock OEM rotors, which directions does the internal vane run on the front brakes? (you can feel the vane direction with your finger)

A:

OR

The airflow is from the inside of the rotor to the outer edges. We had a huge argument about this 11 years ago when some Supra owners thought Toyota had got it wrong, so they reversed their rotors. An industrial systems engineer looked up data on fans in an engineering text and determined the way Toyota did it was about 3% more efficient than turning them the other way. So I think the way I have posted from the MkIV Supra New Car Features is correct.

The pillar fins on the OEM IS350 rotor don't have much of an angle to them, they pretty much flow straight outward. What they do have is an "L" and an "R" to tell you which side they go on. It's the aftermarket 2 piece rotors that have much more angled vanes that usually correspond to the "B" diagram in the original post.
