Take out the damper/spring combo.

You'll be sitting so dumped broseph, it'll be so frickkkkkkin rad.

ahahahah. damper/spring combo is obvioulsy the ideal choice if you want to go lower w/ out coilovers.
That or bags.

by the way, you can't ever get an even spring rate all around or two and two if you cut because the cuts will never be exactly the same. They may be slightly off if you do your h.w. but it'll never, truely be even.

Goodluck, OP.

Are these the megan coilovers someone mentioned previously?

Or are they these? These are probably it. I saw the other one first.

How are those coilovers? I heard they're not the best, but how do people go about judging which is better than the other?

I hope you dont belive this. Your right that as you cut a spring it gets stiffer, but your not going to figure out how stiff the spring will be till after you cut it and actually test it. At that point with all the work you just did you should of just bought springs. You cut springs cause you want your car lower and your too cheep to buy the right stuff to start with. If your going to try and change the height with spacers after the fact, well who actually does that?

to everyone else: The good sides to the megans are that they are cheep and you can adjust the height. The bad sides are they feel pretty crappy compaired to other shocks.

If you go with the shock and spring combo, you end up with that height if you like it or not. Thats where cheepy coil overs like megan help, if your more worried about getting the right height, get cheepy coil overs. If you more worried about how your car rides and handles, get springs and shocks. If you have the money to get both, your reading the wrong post and probably should be on the supra forums.

^^ cheap coil overs like megans will blow on you, especially if you drive on **** roads like here in canada.

I went with the bilstien/hypercoil setup and everyone else over here bought the megan or tien setup for their soarers.

One year later, I am the only one without blown shocks . (I am the only one who dailys their car as well)
