its hard to explain the exact sound since its not really a squeaking sound, but it has a little bit of metal on metal tension type sound. I hear this sound when i get into and out of my car. It is only the the left rear coil. So I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of sound on tanabe coils or any type of suspension for that matter and what will I need to do to fix it.

umm, i would check the 3+1 nuts on top of the coilover to make sure they are tight... vibration will loosen them! maybe, you can check if there's any worn and/or cracked rubber mounts?

I had the same problem with my set of Tanabe coilovers. The noise on mine came from the front, and initially, the shop could not figure out where it was coming from. So what they did was that they greased and re-installed everything...I apologize that I can't be more specific on what exactly the shop greased, but that's what I was told and the noise has not came back for more than a month (and counting). Try this and hopefully the noise will go away.

i dont have coils, but yesterday when i start my car, there was a squeaking sound also as it was rolling out the driveway, it eventually went away
i parked and ate and went back to car and there was it again, very unnoticeable, but it was still there for like a good 5 sec
