Default What kind of grease for daizen bushings?

So my daizen sways are squeaking so bad its driving me insane, I bought a set of zerk grease fittings and a grease gun, I'm planning to install these tomorrow. But I need to know where to get grease that is the same or similar to Daizen, but to get it in a catriage instead of these packets that TM engineering sells, so I can use it in a grease gun.

Any advice?

I think you are better off just putting in the time to loosen the brackets, get the bushings out or at least in position to shove some grease in there by hand. That stuff is wierd, and I've never seen it anywhere else.

Let me know how the zerk fittings work, I had the same idea, but didnt like the idea of putting a hole in something in my suspension since they didnt do it from the factory.
The grease seams to be some type of silicone, nasty stuff to get off your hands!

Would white lithium grease work?

Well lithium grease should work, but I dont think it will last as long as the daizen stuff. Their stuff is ridiculously sticky and thick, almost like silicone except it doesnt dry out.

Supposing you do drill and put a zerk in the bracket. The grease won't get to the part of the bushing that is touching the sway bar itself. That part need to be greased as well with these poly bushings.

Well I'm going to drill and tap the bracket, then im going to drill the bushing right though to the sway bar. I hope it will work.

you need to score the inside of the metal where it meets the bushing . Once done it will keep the lube in there and no noise.

Score inside the metal? I'm not sure what you mean, can you elaborate? Do you mean just like scratch it up with a knife?

A knife can work but 100 grit sandpaper is easier.

But wouldnt that cause for the metal to start rusting? And how much longer to you think the grease will last?

It will last indefinitely if it is not a perfectly smooth surface to then press out the grease which then squeaks .
It will not rust as no moisture gets in there.

Interesting. So you're saying I should get rough sandpaper, and sand the contact points of the sway bar to the metal, removing the powder coating, and make sure the metal is heavily scratched, and then apply grease?

I'm going to pull mine out and have the metal piece knurled in a cross-hatched pattern. It wont be as knurled like those ratchet handles. Just a few lines here and there to keep some grease inside. Mine is starting to squeak even though I applied the Daizen grease like no other.
