Default Help!!

I have a 98 Gs300 that just hit 160K and when i tun the wheel i get almost a metal scraping noise coming from the front right of the car. so i took it into a friend a Firestone so he could take a quick look at it and he said that the lower control arm was vibrating when you turned the wheel. So i don't know if i need to replace the lower control arm or maybe the ball joints. Has anyone had the same problem or any ideas of what it could be?

If he could not tell you then you need to go to a different shop and get a more experienced suspension tech to check it out.
