Default Safe to run 10mm spacers with 5mm extended studs?

i have a 5mm spacer kit and i am using the extended studs they came with..but question is...can i throw on a 10mm spacer safely without changing the studs to accommodate the extra 5mm? pulled my fender a lil too much so now i need spacers to be flush again

would u want to risk it?
its like having stock studs with 5mm spacers all over again.
i'd rock it but i would be paranoid driving around

My 10mm and 15mm spacers from Ichiba have the same length studs. So maybe you can. What LOLTHXkBYE said is right. If you get 7 turns it should be fine. Make sure the wheels are hubcentric or run hubcentric rings if you run a lot of camber because that stresses the studs if they're not.

Rides fine until your studs break off.

I think if the 5mm spacer was hubcentric it wouldn't be as bad. But with Ichiba spacers, the 5mm spacer will be too much for the stock studs because there is no hub ring.

It's even worse when your car is low with that much camber. Just get extended studs.

Yeah. Well how much extra thread do you have on those extended studs? Subtract 5mm from it and see if it's enough. It depends on your wheels too.

nah no wobbles. its 5mm ichiba's. they are hubcentric too.
but anyway, since u got the studs, just replace em.
like 15 min job per wheel.
