its better to stick to stock stuff. Lasts much longer then the aftermarket stuff. The only difference on the aftermarket is that it comes with 5mm spacers. All you have to do is add some washers and its the same as the spacers.

Jic makes only inner tie rods; megan is only the outer tie rods. i have both on my car. Jic is a complete replacement, there is no spacers on them, they do have a stepped lip design on the portion that attaches to the rack which accounts for the additional angle. the megans unlike the stock ones are straight and don't have a slight bend to it. this allows more threading of the JIC into the megan as well (which is what i was looking for when i maxed out my upper ikeya formula arms and was on the bare minimum of threading on the inner and outer tie rods). fyi, if ur on stock rims, if you full lock with the JIC installed, ur outer tie rods may rub the inner barrel of the rim (happened to me when i had to go back to stock rims for a while).

you could get steering wheel shakes, vague or abnormal steering, drifting and maybe some abnormal tire wear

when you have the front of the car up in the air, a shake down of each wheel will reveal the condition of the tie rods, both inner and outer, along with ball joints. When you feel play as you shake it down, that means one of the mentioned joints is at fault. You need to feel your way through the suspension to see if it's the inner tie rod or something else.
