Default H&R Sport + F-Sport Shocks

Anyone have this combo? I'd like to try it out.

Coilovers are out of the question. (Do not want to rebuild every 30k miles)

Thanks.

I'm thinking of doing the same when the time comes to change my shocks.

Same here. My driver front shock is blown and deciding between F-Sport shocks or coilovers. I already have H&R.

Actually my little brother blew out the front driver shock. He hit a pot hole on that side and even knocked the headlights out of alignment.

No i do not, i have the H&R coilover street series, so i can vouch for that part. as far as the F-sport, they are very strong because billstein does manufacture them and i had them on my f-150.

its a good idea, go for it.

but just to clarify, NOT ALL coilover's have to be sent out for rebuilds. BC Racing for instance just send you the cartridge and you or your shop can do it if ever the shock goes, one at a time you can replace them.

My point is - no 'down' time.

If I were you, I would look into this instead just so you can adjust your ride height to your EXACT liking. Again, no down time too!

We probably need to remind OP of noise problems with BC coilivers (and F-sport springs too) that are documented in this section of forum if he hasn't read this already.

What causes the noise problems btw? I was assuming it was from the springs compressing/decompressing.

With the F-sport springs, Lexus has recently released revised rear springs to address the noise problem.

With the coilovers, the other thread on BC coilover noise offers some possible reason(s).

Coilovers ARE appealing to me, and the BC ones sound like they may overcome my fear of rebuilds. However, how much do they run? I would imagine around $1500.

If i bought the F-Sport shocks, that's about $550 (after taxes). I usually install the stuff myself, so i would only be out of pocket another $450 instead of $1500

Thanks for all of your opinions, messrs!

Keep them coming!
