Is there any long term damage on coilovers if I leave it on the lowest setting?

Default Is there any long term damage on coilovers if I leave it on the lowest setting?

New to CL and got a quick question. Will there be any damages if I leave my coilovers to the lowest setting?

I have Tein SS and wondering if there is any specific way to lower the car. What I did is loosen the bottom perches and lower the upper perch and then tighten the bottom perch. Is this good?
