Strut Tower Bar

I think both the Cusco and GReddy need spacers/washers to fit the SC400...the last SC400 I saw with the Cusco bar needed so many spacers that the suspension bolt but just flush with the top of the nut...plus it STILL rubbed...he had trim down the STB a little bit on the backside (since the the gap was SO close and the engine does move around)

Lex - I think I might of found a solution for the SC400's...I'm not too sure about the SC300's though...the intake manifold on those are just too high...we'll see, I have both cars to check on once I get the prototype...

Secondly, I have an SC400, and a Supra S-Bar, and it DOES NOT FIT!!!!! Not even close.
Thirdly, easy on the caps lock button -> no need to yell.
The only way it will even attach is if I bolt the bar on top of the nuts for the strut and use additional washers; leaving the black washer/spacer in, and removing the emblem. Then it still rubs the block, and is about useless. All It will do is bend the bolts to the suspension.
If you have found a S-bar that fits our car's, please provide pics and part #'s so others can order. Untill then, Supra S-bars will not fit properly..............you might be able to bolt one in for certain rice needs, but if you run Autocross, I would not recommend this rig job for an SC.

Well I have had my Cusco on my car for about a year now and it's fine. I used it without the black washers and the screws are not bent.
I have driven it very hard and done some crazy corners and it holds well.
It's true how it hits the top of your engine, but I don't notice anything horribly wrong with it yet. But if something bad does happen, I'll be sure to let you guys know.

Washers will compromise the sturdieness of the bar.
His Emblem was removed (by the bar; if memory serves me correctly)
I don't seem to understand how his bar fits w/ only having the emblem gone, and removing the black spacer. If you attach the bar on my car, it won't clear the intake manifold by a long shot. Tony: do you have any pics of your STB installed?
The only way the STB will clear the manifold is if it is mounted higher than the existing strut studs. Keep in ming the engine does move on its mounts and at least 1/4" space is needed for it to perform safely.
