I just got tanabe NF 210- TNF095 with KYB GR2, Monroe strut mount and new strut bumper and the info sheet that came with the springs say to cut off 15-25mm off the strut bumpers, any one know why they need to be modified

you have lowering springs. the bump stops are made for stock springs.

you cut off about the same amount as the drop your springs provide. otherwise with sorter spring you can be hitting bump stops at full compression(which is going to pretty rare anyways).

^+1 Just take a hacksaw or something to them. I cut about 3/4 inch off for my NF210's and it was fine.

hacksaw with some grease should make your life much easier, mine were pretty tough.

the 210 are great springs,i had them. that minor drop makes the car alot better to drive,enjoy
