just put oem pads on with powerslots front and back. i dont seem to be able to stop as well. my old rotors and pads were real touchy and these are not. I have to put 3 times the pressure as my old brakes when they wernt worn down. any one have this happen? or was something done wrong. i have a 350

Does your power slots have a coating on them? If so you prob need to break them in

If you went from the OEM dusty pads to the OEM non dusty pads there is a huge difference in the feel & grab of these two pads . In any case the new pads & rotors must be broken-in for best stopping

There's certainly a difference in feel, but of course the car will still stop in exactly the same distance, since pads have no impact on that.

(I personally find the feel of the TSIB pads much superior since they're not jerky and allow smoother more linear application of the brakes)

The two different pads may stop the car in exactly the same distance in an emergency panic situation when ABS is engaged, but in daily driving, "normal stop" situation when not enough pedal force is exerted to engage ABS, the feel will certainly be different and more input may be required from the driver to get the same braking power (or distance).

OP, you may also want to bleed your brakes if you haven't done that in a while. That will contribute more to a mushy brake pedal than brake pads will.

I went from OEM front pads to the OEM low dust pads last summer on my IS350, difference in feel is very minor. There was not a huge change in brake feel.
