supra control are cheaper the lexus. supra control arms have solid rubber bushings while lexus ones are not to make for a very soft, couch-like ride.

supra control arms before 97 were steel. after that they were aluminum. they are also more expensive.

all upper control arms are the same.

all sc control arms are interchangeable.

please do a search next time. this has all been covered before

if your ball joints are still good i can replace your bushings without having to spend an arm and leg on new control arms. i have an extra set of daizen(aka prothane) bushings just laying around. brand new in the box

You can buy the front lower control arm here for USD$230 each from here:

http://www.l-tunedparts.com/product/?id=3114

I bought 2 front control arms from them when they had on special for USD$199!

Toyota Australia selling the new front LCA each for AUD$1200!

Oh yer if you decided to do the bushes for the Front LCA, make sure to check the ball joints.

I had changed the Front LCA bushes and after three months, the right hand side front ball joint is worn out!

So i decided to change the front LCA with new ones.

I'm looking into the LCAs myself and have been reading the many threads on bushings and such. It seems that by the time you buy bushings and ball joints that would you be near the cost of the whole Supra arm ($230), correct?

I've had car for two months (92 SC400), so I'm still getting used to it, but when I had it inspected, LCAs were on the list and I feel the drift when I drive. I would think it makes sense to start fresh with the whole arm.

Is that about right or am I missing something? The mechanics here were trying to screw me when I did my Audi arms so I wanna make sure I'm on point.

Thanks
