My UCA moves easily up-and-down but doesn't just fall on its own weight. The metal bushings within the polyurethane need to be lubricated where they contact the polyurethane. I even loaded extra lube between in the small void between the bushing pairs to serve as a reservoir for the steel sleeve. The polyurethane needs to be lubricated on the ends where it contacts the frame. The lubrication on the ends made mine slip right into their mounting location without much wiggling or bumping.

I have a 05 gs300... I just want to know if any body is going to replace the caster arm or front rear lower arm or lower arm #2 bushing.... can you measure the size of the hole of the arm??? i have a set of bushings from my honda... just want to see if there about the same size.. thanks..

Haha. Yes exactly that's what i men't by that. Keep in mind though i was extremely hungover with two hours of sleep when i wrote that.

It's a rear trailing arm bushing. It's as big as a baseball. Since I have them.

Daizen Bushings

thanks for the great writeup and photos, they were a great help - just finished installing the Daizen kit in my GS300 '01. I did run into one snag - caster adjusting bolts had siezed in the bushing sleaves and had to cut them out. (new Bolts from Sewell were $16 each) Also did wheel bearings and seals while I had everything out. (one shop said bearings were bad - 130,000 miles - but turned out bearings looked great) I did have 4 loose balljoints however. I would highly recommend replacing both upper and lower balljoints while you have everything apart if your mileage is over 90 - 100,000.
