Default 88Rotors----NOT for sc4's

A month or so ago I had to buy some new front rotors for my97 SC4. After searchin on here and the internet, I went with 88Rotors in South El Monte, CA for the price (around $200 for drilled/slotted new rotors and pads-installed). Well you get what you pay for. The very day i picked it up, my lexus was making a strong humming vibrational noise everytime I braked. Even my 4 year old daughter was like what is that noise. I waited about a week hoping it would go away but nope it didn't. Over the phone they gave me a hard time about describing the bleeping noise. When I took it back to 88, they drove it and heard the noise. They replaced both the rotors and the pads and told me to "not press hard on the brakes for 100 miles or so." I've had about 20 cars and never have i been told that after a brake job. And guess what folks? It's still doing it. Not only that their freaking starting to squeak as well. This is just a heads up concerning using their rotors for the SC4. Don't do it! Get OEM rotors if at all possible. BTW anyone have any?

Rotora slotted rotors have done me good before I went Endless. But it would be like close to $100 a wheel. This is one of those times where it is you get what you pay for. I'd suggest getting the brakes redone at a good shop asap before something possibly bad happens.

r1concept rotors are made with such dirty meterials. i mean theyre decent, but you would get better braking and even better consistancy with oem rotors.

if your goinna get something cross drilled/etc... get brembo at the very least. rotora is good as well. [of course this applys to peeps who have a certain budget]

Good to know.... Aren't they OE rotors then they drill it themselves? It'll be the same rotors just as the ones you can get at local store (Autozone/Kragen) ain't it? I guess they do buy the cheapest one there is out there then drill it.
