That would depend on where you bought your wheels. If you bought them from Lexus, then probably 'No', since they would only sell you wheels that were made for your car. If you bought them from a reputable tire shop, either on the web or in a brick and motor shop, probably 'No' because they would include them with the wheels (but ask any way). This is why they asked you the make, model, and year of your car. If you bought them used from a third party then probably 'Yes' because it would be very unlikely that his car has the same size wheel hub as your '09 IS.

Can I ask why you're bumping? Several members have given you facts regarding hub rings. What more are you looking for? There is already plenty of awesome information posted by people with "actual experience" in threads like this. Good luck.

Go ahead and close if needed, I'm not looking for anything more.

BILLET ALUMINUM Hub-Centric Ring Adapters
Speaking of the Aluminum vs. Polycarbonate Plastic Hub-Centric Ring Adapter debate, I found these BILLET ALUMINUM Hub-Centric Ring Adapters for $100/set here:
http://www.motorsport-tech.com/hub_rings.html
Can anyone post clear photos of the mass-produced $24.99 "plastic" and $34.99 "aluminum" Hub-Centric Ring Adapters sold by "1010tires" (or similar) for long term group benefit of having a visual comparison with the custom-order American-made CNC "Billet Aluminum" design above...?:
http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.asp
Speaking of some stating the propensity of "Aluminum Hub-Centric ring adapters to 'seize' to the Hub" (via oxidation and/or thermal fatigue), I found this link addressing the seizing issue via the use of 'anti-seize' compound:
http://www.billetprototypes.com/Hub_...g_Install.html
http://shop.billetprototypes.com/pro...c?productId=93
Engineering Overkill?? Perhaps.
They are $65 more than the aluminum ones at 1010tires.
I have to do a bit of research on the oxidative and thermal fatigue properties of the (nonspecified) type of aluminum used by "1010tires" vs. the type of billet aluminum used by "Billet Prototypes" above.
It is nice that 'Billet Prototypes will CNC mill to whatever precise specification you request However, the ones from "1010tires" may already be more than adequate with regards to original manufacturing tolerances
Again, it would be nice if someone can post some photos of the aluminum and/or plastic Hub-Centric Adapter Rings from "1010tires" for visual comparison with those produced by "Billet Prototypes".
However, it seems to me that Hub-Centric Ring Adapters have a CRITICAL role to play and are not something one would want to risk with gradually falling out of original tolerances to thereby slowly place hidden undue mechanical stress upon very costly and safety-critical suspension components.
