Hey Dude,

Were you the one pulled over on the shoulder of the 405 south around 10:30pm on Saturday? Around the Lakewood/Long Beach Area. I think the car I saw was JP equipped.

Yup, and you didn't stop to help!

Just kidding. I decided I'm gonna throw on the two spare bags sitting in my garage just so I can use my car and get the blown ones rebuilt so when my Bilstein shocks come I can put everything together.

Sucks. I seen it on your FB. Take plenty of pics with the Bilsteins and new brackets. When you get your bags rebuilt lmk how tall they rebuilt it to.

this happen to me also, i found that a low profile jack works great. I lay frame and even when my bag blew-I raised the front up all the way and had enough room to get a low profile jack under the car. I also broke down down the road from Home Depot so I got to thinking and this is what i did. I didnt have any friends that were available so I had some packing tape and thought if i wrap it around the bag enough times it will hold(not air obviosly), and then I went to Home depot and got a bag of sand, 2-1/2" caps and 2-1/2" plugs. As you can see it worked. I know keep this bag in my trunk just incase.

man thats scary! Thats my biggest fear, having my air bags pop. Can you imagine if it fully popped on the highway?

How did it feel when the air bag popped? was it violent? You didnt swerve did you?

I always thought it would be similar to a tire blowout or something but it wasn't. It was just like as if you were to air out one corner slowly and then all you hear is rubbing. I could still easily control my car and slowly pull over on the shoulder.
