Did you ever figure out which brackets are required for the SC application? or maybe you could ask Hil for a picture of his setup?

just a question:

I have the bilstien/hypercoil coilover combo and am wondering if I buy UAS airbags, would I still keep the springs I am using on the collar, or loose the springs alltogether?

Also, what are some recommended brands of air bags? compressors? and fittings/lines?

For fittings, anything DOT approved will do, theres no certain brand i dont think.

Compressors would be Val-Air, seems to be the comps of choice.

Airbags,,,UAS seemst o be good, they can customize bags too if you want, make them shorter.

Yes you would loose your springs.

So then I would adjust the perch in relation to the pressure in the bag to set the perfect ride height and rate? It seems very variable...

ideally, you would set your bag pressure first, then adjust the height of the perches.

Was going to make a thread but ill just add to this one;
UAS bags can rub and tear. I tore a small hole in one of mine.
If you go with UAS

Universal Air Aero Sport Air Bag 1/4" Port $154.00

http://www.kmwperformance.com/product/UA-02-ST-SB-14

Single Convoluted Air Spring.

Designed for to slip over your Factory/Performance Struts. (Pressure tube must be less then 2.14 in Diameter)

4.0" Compressed
9.25" Extended
5.875" Diameter

Bags made from Synthetic rubber to be resistant against Oil and breakdown that will ruin Natural Rubber.

Available in 1/4 NPT Ports
NOTE: The brackets required to install these bags are 2 Flat Plates (Upper and Lower)

Applications Include:
Lexus

You can see where mine was rubbing (Fronts Only)

Tore a small hole in the bag

I guess you can use coilovers but you can just trim the bumpstop down and use struts like Tokico Blues. $250 set new.
The rears will need to cut a notch (RED ARROW)so the fitting will fit. I spot welded the fronts so the bags wont spin on the struts and pull out the air lines.
Also a little grind trim on the tops so they will slide over the bags.

Again. i just wrote this as a beware before you put bags on if you go with these they may rub and tear.
So grind/pound down the bumps inside the wheel well on the fronts and respray with undercoat BEFORE you put the bags on.
Just a little heads up.
BTW the ride on the Blues/bags is better than My Tein Basic coilovers and Stock strut/bag combo.

hopefully you guys can help me out im looking to bag my sc with the stock struts i see above there was a post about using tokicos so would i need to use his advice of notching etc or is there an easier way. also since there wouldnt be a coilover to adjust where im at when i have X PSI will the bags be an on/off style or will i have height adjustment depending on how much PSI i put in the bag or let out of it until the strut limits movement

thanks in advance for the help
