3dog-did you stay with the stock size tires or change sizes like pearlpower did? I'm considering this mod until I get some 19s later in the year. I want to get some better tires than the RE030s and go up a size or two (while maintaining stock diameter of course).

245/45/17 with 25 mm spacers look sweet and work with no problems.

I just bought them from Options Auto yesterday - $120 + shipping. (List price is around $150.)

Just installed 25 mm spacers. Boy are they made well !!! They fit around the hub PERFECTLY and center themselves, and the nuts supplied are well machined, super easy install. Really perfect spacing and look now, with 245/45/17's and stock chrome 17's. Well worth the price to still be able to rotate tires front/rear and still get the look of a wider rear footprint.

Glad to hear it. Keep in mind that a few chain tire shops out there will not touch a car with spacers/adapters on them. They even have to turn down Porsches that come from the factory with spacers

engin_ear glad you like the spacers i think with the 17" wheels its a great mod and the h&r product is very high quality.

would like to know if you can tell any difference in the handling of the car while going fast on a curve? ivan

Yeah, like America's Tire-where I just bought my Yokos from! Now I need to go elsewhere for rotation. Unless, of course, I find a set of 19s that I can buy in the meantime

I won't really be able to tell for a few months - I just swapped off my 17's with Michelins for my winter wheels that are the stock 16's with Pirelli Wintersport 210's. Since they don't handle quite as well and I can't push them as hard, I'll have to wait until spring to find out. (It just snowed here. I think I'll move to Calif.)

Anyone ever have a problem with NTB as far as not wanting to touch a car with spacers???
