Posting this just so there is an update on this string of posts (for anyone who happens to be searching the topic).

I ended up re-doing the whole suspension. New F-Sport Springs and F-Sport Shocks. Oh, man. These things feel absolutely GREAT! I think there was a problem with the installation, based on the sounds I am hearding (loud clunking from all corners). Yes, that's made me less than satisfied. However, the handling is amazing. Not quite as good as a BMW 3-series, but close enough.

I had factory sport suspension that came with my sport package on my 07 IS350.

Over a year ago, I went with Eibach 350's using my OEM sport shocks (same as F-sport springs), nice upgrade, plenty low, reasonable ride but stiffer than stock, no clunking, good suspension travel. Shocks do feel a little strained on rebound on big high speed bumps, but some with F-sport springs and F-sport shocks have reported the same effect on rebound.

Obviously a proper installation and proper alignment by an experienced shop is critical to the success of this kind of upgrade.
