I'm looking at getting some used megan coilovers locally and I've been reading that they can get pretty loud due to the pillow mounts, is the noise noticeably worse than getting a set of BCR coilovers with the rubber mounts or is it only mildly louder.

I used to have a TSX with Tein SS coils and I found that creaking that happened when I went over bumps slowly to be very irritating.

i wouldn't say "pretty loud", but loud enough to be noticeable. i've been able to hear it over road and engine noise.

They will be louder.

Pillowballs will also wear faster than rubber mounts, just FYI
