I purchased and installed some Duralast Golds Ceramic Max that i got from autozone (60 for front) a month ago and the break dust has reduced considerably. Would recommend.

Can't beat the OEM dustless pad (Pt# 04465-30400). I've been running them for 25K miles and I am hard on brakes. They have a very good linear feel and they stop great, with no fade (Street use). Wouldn't consider anything else!

Should you order the anti-squeal shim kit to go with them? Part #04945-22151.

So choices are OEM dustless pad (Pt# 04465-30400), Posi pads by Stoptech, and Duralast Golds Ceramic Max from autozone. Anyone else with good experience with certain brake pads?

yeah Ive been wanting to upgrade my oem rotors and pads....i like the look of the drilled but i want HIGH quality so they dont break. any suggestions?

I heard slotted rotors will decrease the pad life. is that true?

There's no such thing as a drilled rotor that doesn't crack under hard use. The drilled rotors on the IS-F are made by Brembo. Mine are cracked at every single hole after one track weekend with full race pads.

No idea if slotted really does wear out pads faster or not.

well lets say I dont plan on tracking my car....are there any mid quality drilled rotors that would be less susceptible to damage in everyday driving?

I see these pads and rotors on ebay but they look iffy at best. How much should a good rotor cost to make and sell? I have no idea. The ranges on ebay go from just over a 100 to 800 for what looks to be the same thing.

I actually installed the same Duralast Golds Ceramic Max and turned out great!!! I was getting very fed up with the break dust that gets collected on my rims after a day of cleaning and driving on it. I notice a big difference in how much dust build up there is after the change and don't have to wash my rims every week now, HAPPY Great for everyday street use!!!

Why the hell don't we get OEM dustless brake pads in the Gulf ? This ain't fair by Lexus. They should provide it for every customer or my dealer maybe just does not want to replace my brake pads for free under warranty.
