TEIN FLEX...finally installed!

I agree with 2savvy, if you're ONLY doing a 1" drop, just get the L-tuned...but if you ever plan on doing more, get coilovers...
I have yet to bottom out on my FLEX. I decided to do more "bottom" adjusting and I left the top portion pretty much to spec. according the Tein manual...so I don't think I'll bottom out any time soon...
2Savvy - Did your installer follow the directions and use the # given in the manual?

Manaray,
We ended up lowering the car approx. 1/2" lower from the specs given via the bottom part of the FLEX coilover.. Only reason why I slightly bottomed out was it was a pretty big pothole and the damping settings were too soft.. Have gone up to 10 clicks from the softest setting all the way around and its just fine now.. Do you know if anyone makes a strut tower bar for the SC430 yet??

Nope, not yet. I wish I had easy access to one so I could at least check the hood clearance...I have a feeling the engine cover would need to go...
Also, dunno how many SC430 owners would actually buy a STB...most of them don't know jack about fixing up cars....and to sell a small handful of bars would most likely not be cost effective...although I do think the SC430 owners are more willing to pay decent cash for the right product (unlike some other model owners who insist on products only because they are inexpensive/cheap... )
