I'd rather not go with spherical bearing toe rod, if it was a race car I'd be more enthusiastic... oh well, I guess we'll have to see. I hate to come across as a wuss haha
I too, am interested in anyones suggestions for those with uneven tire wear with acceptable toe and moderate camber... I assume that the suspension under compression can cause a drastic increase in toe out when vehicles suspension arms are already "under compression" because of being lowered? I dunno, it would be helpful to see peoples solutions, its a fairly common issue? Everyone can't be having this issue?

I recently corrected my camber issue (inner tire wear) by going with the the SPC upper control arms. They have +/- 2 degrees of camber adjustment and +/- 1 degree of caster adjustment. A slightly misadjusted toe will give you feathering problems with your tires. Bad caster will cause your steering wheel not to align properly. I've been fighting tire wear demons since I lowered the car in '99 when it was new. The SPC's weren't that difficult to change, although I had to drop the shock down (the three nuts at the top) to allow the two mounting bolts to clear the spring coils. It does help to have your alignment specs prior to changing them so you know approx. which way to set the caster. After it's properly aligned, the fronts now look vertical from a distance. As for the cost, I figured $400 for the arms vs. $700 for a pair of PS2 Michelins and high speed on car spin balance every 15k miles slightly more economical.
