Ok everyone need some input on coilovers or springs what yall running
OK DECIDED TO ORDER A SET OF STAGGERED 20 INCH WHEELS AND WHANT TO LOWER IT AT THE SAME TIME. WHAT HEIGHT DROP DO YALL RECOMEND WITH 20'S AND SHOULD I GO WITH A SET OF COILOVERS OR SPRINGS. I STILL WANT A GOOD RIDE BUT DONT WANNA BREAK THE BANK. I HAVE SEEN SOME PEOPLE RUNNING MEGAN'S AND THEY ARE IN MY PRICE RANGE ON EBAY AROUND $900 I THINK. ALSO I HAVE SEEN ALOT OF PEOPLE RUNNING TEIN'S BUT THEY ARE A LITTLE OUTTA MY PRICE RANGE AROUND $1800 I THINK. AND THEN THERE ARE ALOT OF LOWERING SPRINGS FOR LIKE $200-$400 DOLLARS. I WOULD JUST LIKE SOME GOOD INPUT ON BOTH WAYS BEST BRAND TO GO WITH HEIGHT FOR DAILY DRIVING AND RIDE COMFORT. THANKS IN ADVANCE GUYS!

I have had my Megan coilovers for two years in June with no complaints. I am also running staggered 20's. I do not have my car slammed because it is my daily driver, but the Megans go low if that is what you are looking for. They also ride nice. Of course, you will get the people who say they are crap, but they have worked fine for me.

Go suspension, don't go for springs. At the end, it will cost the same as buying suspensions.
springs
Goods: cheap, ok to ride on for now. The drops looks nice
bad: At the end you'll blow out your stock strut. And have a bad bumpy ride. But still have that same drop. (not worth it)
Suspensions
goods: good to ride on, steady. You get o adjust your stiffness and softness on the dampers. Can adjust height at anytime.
Bad: Cost a little more than springs but totally worth it. You might need to rebuild throughout time. Depending on brand.
A lot of members on here would tell you go with suspensions or air ride. This is a Lexus. Not a Honda.
