Circumference of TRD BLUE SWAY BAR F/R
I'm looking for the circumference for the TRD BLUE sway bar. I'm looking into purchasing new bushings for the front and rear.
I will post the number up when I get a chance to go under the car this weekend. If anyone knows, please post it up for future reference.
Thanks.

I don't have my TRD sways anymore, but if these are the same bars as the Aristo (most likely it is). then it should be 31mm front and 19.1mm rear
http://trdparts.jp/english/parts_stabilizer.html
It even lists the part number for the bushings, but it doesn't correlate to any Toyota/Lexus part number. You'll probably have to go through a TRD distributor to get them.

I don't know if the bushing is manufactured by TRD.
These are the parts number for the bars.

PTR04-30990-12, PTR04-30990-13
of course sewell is much cheaper using discount code.

I will be putting these in because mine ripped and it's making a clanking noise on bumps.

OEM size:
Front Sway Bar Bushings - 28.5mm
Part Number: 181123
Rear Sway Bar Bushings - 14mm

Front diameter is probably 31MM as you suggested Gsteg but I can confirm that the rear is 19mm.
I'm going to order it at those spec. It's cheap anyway if the front is wrong size. Thanks again!
btw: bought it from jegs since energybushing doesn't seem to have those size.

Between the Daizen Sways and TRD sways which ones are stiffer/ improve performance and reduce body roll the most. I have an offer for some used Daizens but im not sure if i should hold out for the TRD's or not or if its that big of a difference between the two.

This is what I ordered. I am not sure of it being correct until I get them.
BackOrdered Items
Qty. Item (FRONT)
1 311-19-1147
ops...just realized the front one is backordered.. I end up buying one from amazon (MOOG brand) until these arrive.

Cool. I will order a set as I am getting them installed hopefully in late March early April.
Keep us posted on your results.

if you order from sewell use clublexus as coupon code.
It's very easy to install.
When you pull the front on out, make sure not to flip it around. You need it as a reference on how to put the BLUE in correctly (it may break you abs wire if not installed correctly). There is a detailed install with lots of pix in this forum.

Just wanted to confirm that the TRD Blue front is 31mm. You can probably purchase the original base on Gsteg link above.
GSJake, I didn't get the red yet for either but I did install the one from amazon. Fit was nice and I think it improved the sloppy steering (due to less sway of course, when you shift steering left and right).
possible improvement: Longer/stronger bolts for the type A and B brackets. It's harder to put the bushing in when you have things tighten up already on each end of the bar.
My suggestion, put on the bolts enough to keep it from coming off. Then put one the rest of the bolts to the other end. Tighten the bracket a little more then lower the car so that it's sitting on the ground. Make final tightening to all the bracket bolts. (longer bolts will make this easier. Stronger bolt may be needed now becuase more stress is put on to it - not much but stronger is better).
Don't forget to tighen the endlink.
Now, I'm thinking, if we strenghten the endlink and firm up the bushing and improve the bolts. It would take more advantage of the shocks and spring. I think it's beneficial, espcially when springs are variable rate...more compression - it gets firmer.

I wanted to add that I got a blue sway bar bushing from amazon. It's firmness is well above OEM and less than the red polyurethane ones.
heads up. Matches the TRD blue nicely.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ef=oss_product
it looks black in this pic but it's actually blue when it ships. OEM sway bar might benefit too but choose a the correct size.
