He are a couple of pics of the 2gen SC's rear strut bar all aluminum.

Guy's my other thread got deleated cause i let it go in the wrong direction.
There will NEVER be a group buy on this bar. Maybe you'll find one, one day. But please dont ask for a GB or for me to sell you one in this thread. Im just showing progress in something i made.

think im gonna make a change. people keep saying "adjustablility & tension". ive found a correct & reverse thread 1/2" bolt that i can use. Gonna cut the bar in half in the middle & tap it. put this hex rod in there & whaaaLLaaa adjustable tension. test mine first.

here's pic

good concept and all, but you may wanna make the bar as cross as straight as possible, and the lower it is to the mounting point the better. for being innovative

nice craftsmenship, but i'll have to admit that strut bars on our cars; front or rear; don't have much of an effect.

with that said, if i didn't spend money on my TRD front STB or my rear STB and wasn't lazy, I'd take both out.

well just speaking from experience on the street and track.

if i had to do it all over again, i would most likely forgo the strut tower bars, unless the front was a 3 pt with a brake cylinder tie in, full weld in cage (tho the bolt in made a very noticeable difference in chassis stiffening), ikeya formula control arms (made the most difference in body roll; comparison made before and after new coilovers), TRD sways from a supra (or daizens for it's ease), and the jic inner and megan outer tie rods.

the way i see it, the strut bar is mainly for macpherson strut designed cars. i'm not the best in articulating it all out but the information is out there in the comparison of the two designs; macpherson vs wishbone.
