Default Cross Drilled/Slotted Rotors and Ceramic Pads

Has anyone tried the Performance Brake Parts cross drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads being sold by Brake Labs on ebay? Buy it Now for $220.... all four rotors and pads. Sounds too good to be true, but probably getting what you pay for right? Or, are they a decent performer?

Any one know of the fitment of the pads? Will there be the annoying occasional clicking sound, as if the pad is loose?

Any info on these, or perhaps, recommendations on what is more appropriate in a cross drilled and slotted rotor and ceramic pad for a 2000 GS400 will be greatly appreciated!

It's better if you buy them from our vendors @ the vendor classifieds. gl.

Actually you wont be the first, I bought a set a while aback for my last car
from 88rotors.com (same kind of deal) I think, and they were pretty good. No complaints so far. Try them, for that price you cannot go wrong man... I would paint the rotors (around the hub area) before I put them on though to avoid the rusting . Use the g2 epoxy paint (approx. $37). Good luck

Believe it or not, I bought some ebay rotors, not sure who the vendor was for my NSX. It was just slotted rotors only. Never had a problem with them. It was CAD plated, but I still painted the hats silver anyway since it looked better. I ran Carbotech Bobcat ceramic pads with them and used to take it from 100 MPH down to 40 MPH quite a few times. 3 years later and they are still perfectly fine.

I'm never worried about warping rotors since I have never warped any rotor in any of my cars. Its the plating that is suspect on the ebay rotors, but since you can paint them yourself it isn't a big deal. For the price, its hard to beat. My habit is to change rotors when I change brake pads if I can. I mean, you have to change brake pads every 40-60K miles, so whats a few extra hundred to change rotors too.
