Rear End help please! uncontrollable swaying
#16
The sway bar is connected to an end-link (red circle) and end-link is connected to LCA. I replaced mine when I installed my coilovers. They still looked good, but I replaced them anyways.

wow awesome pic i appreciate the time.
so the bet is that the end link is most likey what i need to replace.
and this end link being broken/missing is what could be/is causing my issues..
amazing guys. i really appreciate all the info and time you guys have given to me looking into my problem and i could not thank you enough for spending the time to reply to my post.
it appears as though club lexus is going to be my new lexus home forum.

Justin, I see you have Tein Flex coilovers.
How many miles do you have on your SC?
Have done any corner balancing yet? This should be done BEFORE alignment.
If the weight of the car is not distributed equally and perhaps you have somewhat worn out bushing, this will also cause the swaying on the freeway.

I would also check the wheel bearings if i were you. A few months ago i had a bad bearing and my car would wobble badly in the rear, felt like i was going to lose control of it. After I did the wheel bearing, wobble is completely gone.

Death wobbles can also be caused by something as simple as not tightening the lug nuts down all the way or properly. Be sure to check the easy stuff. Just did the brakes on my friends 4runner and had him put the tires back on. It got a wobble at 40mph so went back to his house and I tightened them and problem solved.

I just got a sc300 1jz single turbo setup, and exiting to highway I decide to hit the gas and almost lost the car, start bouncing left to right je je, i got scared but I got control back, I thinking of bad shocks, I will inspect today and see what I can find probably will take pics, i always like to document all stuff.
