Looking to buy new Brakes/Rotors, need help
Im in the market for new front brake pads and possibly slotted rotors as well, currently have slotted/crossdrilled right now thats been resurfaced once..
and def LOWER BALL JOINTS ASAP.
*Only one Lexus dealer in my area and they want $85 ea. for the balljoints, fair price?
*****I have MKIV Supra TT front brakes...******
Looking to spend about 60-100 for brake pads, thinking about the akebono street performance ultra prem..dont know the exact price yet they havent emailed me back.
And PowerSlot Slotted Rotors which goes for about 120 ea.........
I am gonna be doing everything myself.
Would that be a good combo or am I spending too much for what I want ?
Pretty much I want extremely low brake dust as possible and slotted, not crossdrilled rotors... Please give me some suggestions you guys have or had and was good to you and which vendors or online store I can go to for a good hook up with brake pads/rotors/ball joints.
Much help needed, I'm on a fair range of 400-500 budget for all 4 items.
Thank you for reading. ClubLexus members help very appreciated !!!

Oem TT pads are actually very good and not super expensive, I wouldn't rule them out just bc they are stock. Also stock TT rotors are excellent and will provide better stopping power than slotted/drilled rotors (more surface area). There was a test out there comparing OEM TT brakes to aftermarket and they tested very well. Don't forget the TT was undefeated in braking using OEM equipment until the late model 911 Turbo beat it by a couple feet.

recently put some akebono SP's as well on another vehicle and driven about 600 miles and so far brake dust is minimal but still there light coating but could be seen if you swipe your fingers across the wheels. since its a different vehicle stopping power etc etc will be very different but im happy with them on my 06 civic sedan, 68$ from tire rack right now.

Thanks for the link infamous..i dont know if iwanna do aftermarket or OEM yet
I can replace pads and rotors for 190 with oem pads and rotors...
im leaning more towards the hawk pads now if i do aftermarket, akeobono didnt have the SP for turbo application supras..
But which Hawk pad is the best ? Looking for min. break dust w/ good stopping power that'll bite a bit.

ive searched and cant decide on what options are the best for what i need. i want to replace my rotors and pads. should i just stick with oem. or is there a cheaper alternative that will still be good. my car is just a daily driver. i dont want any squeeking or brake noises.
