What brake fluid do you guys recommend? Changing to LS400 brakes.

What brake fluid do you guys recommend? Changing to LS400 brakes.
I'm swapping the fronts to the LS400 bbk and leaving the stock SC400 rears. I'm going to be getting some braided lines as well. What fluid do you guys recommend and how much does it take to do the whole car? That way I can order a good fluid and get just enough. Thanks.

Do you plan on tracking your car and need an extremely high boiling point?
If not, I would just use plain old factory spec brake fluid (dot 3 on early models), or you can make the improvement to DOT 4. More important for most people is just changing the fluid at proper intervals to avoid moisture build up in the fluid. A quart should be ample.

Use stock recommended, it was designed for working best with the ABS. If you really need to raise your boiling point of your brake fluid then stop driving with your foot on the brake lol. The higher the DOT rating the higher the boiling point but dot 5 and 5.1 are silicone based and do not work in ABS systems.

if you really dont have anything else to blow your money on then get castrol srf...personally i would rather go to a strip club than get the above.
motul is tried and true. to all those people worrying about abs issues there is a simple solution. get rid of it and learn how to drive. i havent had abs on my car for 3 years daily drive year round including chicago winters with no issues.
