Depends what you want - compete in auto-cross?
I wanted a 'sporty' responsive well dampened ride - without ruining the Lexus luxo ride.
With the sport Bilsteins and stock tire/springs - I got what I wanted.
You feel the bumps and ripples in the road around town - unlike the stock setup which feels dead.
But the trade off is fabulous handling on bumps and at speed.
I caught myself with a big grin yesterday going over 105 mph on a bumpy stretch of freeway. It felt rock solid. No way I would have done that before.
(Frug- I should put the old worn out crap back on so I don't lose my DL....)
Oh - the labor for the shocks, and ALL the bushings - sway front & back, steering, and ALL the control arms was $686.
It feels like a real sport sedan now.
Isn't that what this is anyway?
