Default Switching from H&R to Eibach's

Hey guys I have had my H&R's sport springs for a week but I'm gonna switch to Eibach's. I will be posting them in the classified section if interested.

The ride is a tad rougher than I care to tolerate. With the eibachs my front will be a little higher as well. I have had eibach's on my Acura TL and my g37 coupe and was happy but this time l listen to others and gave H&R's a chance. I'm just not satisfied with the ride.
I will comment on the ride comparison once the Eibach's are installed. I'm not looking for the slammed look and to me the H&R's kinda give the car that look to me.

I personally like the stance of your car and is what i'm looking for. I saw your car before I bought the H&R's but I still chose the H&R's. Here is a pic of mine on H&R's.

Doesn't look bad at all, I actually like your drop bmay, but I guess it isn't for everyone.

I'm sure it's the combination of having 20's along with the h&r's that make the ride a little too rough. I have them on 18's and my gf and sisters bf both have 2is's with stock suspension and when I asked them if they can feel a difference and they couldn't. I dd this car and my opnion is different then there's. On extremly choppy roads, speedbumps, and other imperfections, the difference is noticeable, but not anywhere near the point of switching them out.

I'm on Eibach 350's and 19's with T1R tires, ride is acceptable and still Lexus-like, it is a bit rougher than stock OEM sport suspension.

It might be the 20" + H&R. I have mine on 19" for a month now and I can only feel the ride being rougher when going over speedbumps and potholes. My gf didn't notice any difference.

Default Been there, done that...

I've switched my wifes IS250 from H&R's to Eibach's with hopes a improved ride quality. It improved by a marginal difference and I don't think it was worth the cost of labor to do the switch.

H&R's ride just fine, except for when you hit a bump or pothole ect... thats when they bottom out and you get that big jolt that makes them feel like they ride like crap.

Eibach's do the same exact thing. They are only like .2inches higher, giving your shock an extra .2inches of shock travel - which is nothing. Eibach's are going to bottom out on bumps too.

I did it already and IMO it was a waste of time/money.

I have Eibach 350's (same as F-Sports) and they rarely bottom out. My shocks are OEM sport package shocks.

In fact when flying over lightrail train tracks at speed I am surprised as to how well the bump stops were handling the bottoming at speed, similar to stock and not a harsh effect during that crossing which I do often on the drive from my house.

But I think OP's ride issues are more the result of the 20" wheel/tire selection.
