You can remove them without compressing it. Just loosen the top spring perch. No need to make anything because once you put it back, you'll be able to easily add preload.

Thanks as always! Now I gotta find out what you mean need to get familiar with terminology. Need to research more about corner weight; read a little about it, so I might find a shop that'll do it or find a place that'll rent out the scale (doesn't look that difficult to do).

I just ordered the swift spring today and will get it possibly next week (12F/10R).

If you're serious about corner balancing, get a pro to do it even if you can rent the scale. Adjustments are made in increments and each time you lift the car to adjust, you'll have to put it back down and roll it back and forth to let the suspension be in its 'settling' state. You can raise the front driver side up a bit and it'll be heavier on the rear right corner, but what if it's not balance from left to right? Even the pros take 2-3 hours and you need to be sitting in the car the whole time.

If you're within san gabriel valley, Platinum VIP does the whole thing for $140, apparently. Darin at West End in Gardena charges around $250 but he's the man!

I'm in NorCAL. I guess I will check the norcal section.

this spring rate should offer you a firm ride for daily use but will still roll badly if you track your car.

Just go with BCR with custom spring rates and call it a day...

I do have a BCR with 12/10, but I'm upgrading the springs to Swift. Everyone claims their springs are superior but for now, I'll test out swift.

Well, that's good to know that my current rate is not crazy firm regular road. I won't be tracking the car so I'm okay with it.

Why are these half the price of swift?

updated page 1... I don't know, there are less coils... one. Let's hope it was worth the swap. I'm really curios to know the comparison between Swift, hyperco, and Eibach. Eibach has the ERS line. These company all claim the lightest. I'm wondering if Hyperco is the latest in spring technology.

Just installed it today... I love the predictability of these springs. Way better than my eibach+bilstein combo. Although, the BC coils could only drop so much in the front. (kinda weird but the swift springs made me happy enough to forget about the BC).

Like when you make hard turns or drift, the spring is very linear and you know how much it'll lean. I haven't driven it too hard yet but that's what I'm feeling. It's also stiffer than my eibach but also rides smoother (kinda weird).

What kinda pic u looking for? see first page.

How are the springs holding up so far? How do you like them now that you've racked up miles?

Thinking about upgrading my front spring from 9k to 10k since they seem too soft the way they are.

It's doing great. I've gotten used to the firmer but not so harsh ride. I actually want to go 14 in the front. and keep the 10 in the rear. I don't think I'll need to re-valve either as the spring seems kinda soft because it's so linear as compared to the eibach+bilstien setup. The rebound is slow ... I gotta correct that by reducing the damp (why I want to increase spring rate so I can increase damp and get the better rebound). This problem is prevalent on roads that have sections that are uneven (jump in the air kinda unevenness).

I rides very smooth over dips and valleys.. not so much when the road is f'd up though. It takes those dips and valleys like a champ.

May look into 14 front... and possibly getting a longer springs if it permits... I may not be able to do the longer springs due to the cup kit.

I think I would do well with 14 and a possibly a helper spring.
