Default EBC pads and Goodridge SS lines

I've heard the EBC greenstuff pads and Goodridge SS lines have been used by some of the CL members as OEM replacements. My questions are as follows:

How do the EBC compare to the OEM pads in the areas of brake dust, bite, noises/chatter, fade?

Is there a noticeable difference using the Goodridge SS lines?

Thanks

I've got about 400 miles on my front & rear brake redo and find the EBC Green Stuff pads are considerably cleaner than the previous stock pads. They are completely silient (no squealing or chatter). I feel that pedal pressure (subjective) is firmer during a hard stop w/ the Goodridge SS Braided hoses.

Hope this helps.

Goodridge SS Hoses came from Steve Ganz @ Carson Toyota and the EBC pads from a brake supply company in Torrance, Ca (310-530-1243).

You might want to check w/ Steve to see if he stocks EBC pads.

I think Tire Rack also sells EBC pads.

Thanks for the feedback. Are you using the EBC pads with the stock rotors? Did you need any special shim kits?

I'm running OEM size crossed drilled & slotted rotors. When I installed the pads I cleaned and reused the existing shims. I seated the shims & pads w/ anti-noise brake 'paste'. I've seen a lot of comments regarding shim kits. I suspect guys are discarding the old ones and installing fresh ones when putting on new pads. I didn't see the need for that in my case. As I said in an earlier post the brakes are absolutely noise free.

Go out to the GS Photo Gallery. I posted a number of pictures a few weeks ago showing the details of my brake upgrade.
