it depends on your drop. what kind of drop are you going to go with?

how much wheel gap (at stock height) between the top of the tire...to the top of the fender arc for your front vs. rear? 3 inch front and 2.5 inch rear?

yes, and the pro-kit should drop about 1 inch.

What camber kit. I've never heard of a camber kit for the 2IS or the 3GS. If someone makes one I'd like to know about it.

Megan makes a camber kit and they also have traction arms, toe arms, and the upper arms. They are for the REAR only. Some people have used the is300 front camber kits and modified it to fit the ISx50. There's some threads floating around here about it.

Oh really!
I wish someone made a kit for the 3GS. I'm tired of wearing out tires.

For that kind of drop I wouldnt get a camber kit. IMO that is not a low enough drop to justify spending anywhere from $200-$500+ for a camber kit. You should be fine, just keep up to date with your maintanence checks i.e. tire pressure etc.

I wouldn't even worry about a camber kit. You would barely camber with that drop and tire wear won't really be an issue.

anyone know if it true for the tien s-tech? it's give a lil more aggressive drop, 1.5" in the front and 2" in the back. i took my car for an alignment they told me that i have negative camber and it's wearing out my tires faster then normal. should i be worry about this or is it not that big of a deal? been doing research on this for a while and still haven't decided

neg camber takes awhile to actually eat tires. every 4-5 months you can have your rear tires swapped. thats what i do and my tire wear pattern is even. and i have about-3.3* camber which is much more than you would get from having springs. toe in is what really kills your tires. i would only suggest the camber kit is your slammed on coils, or tracking your car. our cars go through rear tires at a faster pace than others. so unless your killing tires in 6 months you dont really need it.

I don't know about the 2IS but s-techs dropped my car like 2" in the rear. I ended up getting a rear toe & camber kit to get it back to factory specs. Fronts were fine though

my front camber is -1.5 and -1.6, rear camber is -1.6 and -2
my front toe is .03 for both side, rear toe is .13 for both side.

what do you mean by swapping rear tires? like the front to the back or switch the rear tires around?

it's funny for some reason my front tires wear out faster then rear! i'm still using my stock one and i have almost 30k on it, i HAD to replace my front one last summer since i was almost down to the metal part

i think for the 2G IS the drop is about the same.

your tires got eaten like that because of factory toe spec i bet. they come from lexus with super aggressive toe in on the front. my stock fronts looked like that until i got my alignment done by someone that knows what they are doing.
