Default changing brake pads...

i'm about to hit 20k miles on my car and plan on changing my pads.. this may seem like a stupid question but.. does everyone change front and rear??

You can peak into the calipers to see the pad material, if it looks like about 3mm or less, then it is time to change...but keep in mind that the fronts will always wear faster than the backs...

The answer is right above you Look at the rear pads to see if they need to be changed. If they are low on pad life, then replace. If not, then just replace the fronts.

dengg joe! already 20k on the 09? haha if ur only changing the fronts it will only take u 15 min lol

i don't know if it will take 15 minutes... as i will probably resurface the rotors as well..
