tokico or stock???
Hey everyone,
Was wondering what provided a better ride, tokicos with stock springs or stock shocks with stock springs... or should I just save up and buy eibach/tokico or eibach/stock???
Thanks in advance,
Antonio

Here is my experience.
Tokico's + stocks springs = bit tighter and nice control. Ride quality is 8.5/10
Stock shocks + Stock Springs = Sloppy and lose. Ride quality is 10/10 and uber comfy
Eibachs + Tokico's = Tight ride and excellent cornering. Ride goes to a choppier but decent 7.5/10
Eibach's + Stocks = Choppy and responsive. Ride is a tighter than stock, sloppier than option #1. Tends to float but still corners excellent. (setup I settled with)
The definite do NOTS. KYB non-adjustables with Eibachs. Rides like a mini-truck.
Last options that are a bit pricey but maybe worth it for some. All the 93-97 Supra N/A setups.

Free is good. I like free. Send me some and I will let you know.
Skunk is decent but the quality is not even near Eibach or H&R
I like ground control for psuedo coil-over setups because they are down the street from me. My friends sell Skunk2 but I do not really have an opinion on them.

Seattle,
I am not sure how much stock springs are... however, I bought the OEM struts for only $50each. Install is usually $200 if you do not want to doit yourself. 4hours labor.

Here's an idea Seattle SC;
Try and give Brad a call at Johnny's Custom Machine/Autosport down on Westlake, here in seattle(206.621.1940).They are a distributor for Tokico, and they have suspension kits(springs/shocks) from them that are all sorted out so as to ride decent and all that.
Stock TT stuff rides pretty good too, being a Toyota engineered effort.
Don't you have some racing coilovers in your car there Bill?
That would explain the ride,perhaps.
