stopping power is the same as the dust brake pads, the only thing is that it will feel differently. it will stop at the same length as the other pads, its physics.

mine were pretty much gone. my dealership still replaced them for me.

They just called and said since my brake pads are aftermarket pads, they can not do it under warranty...

Well, yeah... the TSIB is specifically to "fix" the problem with the OEM pads. If you don't have the OEM pads then why would they fix a problem you don't have?

does this TSIB only apply to 350s? I thought there was one for 250s as well. My front wheels get dirrrrrty after 2 or 3 days.

it applies to 250's also. there was an update in the latest tsib.

Guess you're out of luck. Just use what is left of your current pads, and then put the dust-free pads Lexus recommends. Only thing is now you'll have to pay for the brake pads, which I assume you considered anyway.
