Default Primer on Supra components on the SC?

I see threads with a lot of people seemingly putting MKIV supra suspension components on their SC. I know some things from the Supra will fit the SC, but I have some specific questions about springs and shocks. It seems that the Supra springs are significantly cheaper than SC springs. Would OEM Supra springs lower an SC?? And would Supra lowering springs REALLY lower an SC? And are the shocks also interchangeable (relatively speaking)??

Could someone lay this out for me? Cause Supra lowering springs can be had for 100, and shocks for maybe 70% of what they cost for SC specific ones.

Thanks in advance.

Stock TT Supra suspension lowers an SC .5'', same applies when shopping for aftermarket springs..REF: After market TT Supra springs advertise a 1'' drop, you have to add another .5'' drop to that.

Supra springs MUST be used with Supra shocks, no interchanging...and I dont care what make-shift mechanic says otherwise.

So quick run down:

Supra springs only go with Supra Shocks (even aftermarket, no mix&match with SC parts)

Add .5'', even with OEM Supra suspension.

You can also use TT Supra f&r sway bars, but must change the rear end links (IIRC the fronts dont need to be changed, correct me if Im wrong.)

There is more, but cant remember all of it now cause I have been in the process of moving..but if you have any questions feel free to PM me anytime.

Control arms, brakes, not sure it you have to change the rear endlinks but you'll have to change the sway bar subframe mounts.

Is it hard to change the mounts for the TT sway bar?
