Default Make it Ride Like New

Okay, so I live in Columbus and I'm attending Cincinnati in the Fall. I will be driving back and forth a good deal which is about a 90 mile or so drive. I want to know how I can improve my suspension (what to replace/ what to upgrade) so that my car will ride like new again, and also what to replace so that my car doesn't brake down. I'm at 132,000 miles. My girl friends mom got a new Nissan and I was jealous of the way it rode compared to my worn down GS 400. I've lurked around a little and found these parts as a good start:

Daizen Steering bushings
Outer Tie Rods
Daizen Sway Bar bushings

Any other ideas?

Have your balljoints checked out for safety purposes. At 132k miles, your shocks are probably out if you're still on the originals. That's one place to start. The GS doesn't ride like an LS400 so don't have too high of an expectation.

I agree with GSteg, definitely Ball Joints and shocks. Have someone who you trust check out the suspension and do an honest assessment, suspension components are considered service items so they do need to be replaced from time to time. You'll need all of those things probably if your car isnt driving as nice as a Nissan.

but you know my first GS when it had 30k miles Rode superb Was like butter compared to now... My GS rides like Crap too compared to my brand new camry even.
When i hit like a sewer cap on the rode in my GS it sometimes feels like my car is going to break.
On my camry I can speed up and hit that like its a rental and not feel a thing.
But yeah I did the ball joints
Ordered all the products from Daizen including Tie rods
I got some new suspension Bilsteins shocks and lowering springs
Hopefully that makes a improvement I believe it just has to...

Regardless, the first thing you should do is replace the lower ball joints, outer tie-rods and upper control arms. Next, gettting an good overall assessment of the vehicle would be wise. I could see new sway bar bushings, end links, struts, lower control arms, caster arms, possibly brake pads and rotors as being needed as well.

I reccommend doing fluid flush's for your transmission, coolant system, brake system, power steering, and the rear differential.
