Just the rear if you have the 350
why both if 250?
Are there any differences?
I thought somehow the front ones will reduce the effects of the rear ones(?)

This is why:
In the IS350 the F-sport RSB is only 6.3% stiffer than the OEM RSB, hardly noticeable.

Just get the RSW for now and take the car out, you'll feel the difference right away. After I had mine installed, the difference to me was like night and day.

I'm like 98% sure they updated the AWD kit to now include a front bar.
That's why the folks with 350s are gonna be out of luck soon.
(the "rear only" kit was the AWD 250 part number since it only came with a rear bar, but that kit is now replaced with the kit that has both bars)

Yeah, the difference is truly dramatic. Take a wide turn (like a freeway on ramp) at 40 MPH right before you install it, then take that same turn again after it's on.

So the main benefit of the brace is as a skidplate and creating sparks at speed on big bumps I guess, not to mention the lighter wallet.

Exactly. And when mechanics look under your car and see the blue, they'll think you're special.

What are you shielding it from? I find the skid plates on my Jeep to be more functional for that purpose.
I think the possibility of a spark shower at night is a better advantage that is more likely to be realized.

What's that chunk of undetermined quality steel weigh? Should the spare tire and jack be left at home to offset the weight?

Can the chassis brace still fit with the skid plate? Or does the skid plate have to be off permanently?
