those that have this suspension, how high did you set your car?
Since it is a bit softer than the usual does it have rubbing issues?
I plan on putting my car at about 1 finger gap (from the OEM about 3 fingers) not sure how much but 1.5" drop at most.

Not sure what you're asking... Money doesn't have to do with how low you can go on coils. If you want to go LOW, you should be getting Megan's, which are one of the cheaper coilovers for the 2IS. KW V3's are obviously on the pricier end, and only really worth it if you're tracking, or if you're just a major brand *****.

One vendor here told me it will be the most comfortable and still perform excellent that's why I am looking into this brand.

the spring rate is progressive so it is not possible to compare with other coilovers with linear rates.

Or I could get BCR with custom rates a notch softer than the standard order.

I don't want to go too low at all on this car. Just a bit more sport but not tucked or "flush". Ride height is only one part of suspension parameter, so I want to ask if the KW perform well at the height I want.

It's all subjective. Some like progressive spring rates, many don't. Have you looked into TEIN CSTs? Those are built specifically for ride comfort, if that's your thing. I'm sure the KW's will perform great at that height - just depends on your budget and what you're trying to accomplish.

Tein Comfort Sport? Yes, their spring rates are same for front and back though which I find a little odd.
The price is lower but gets close to KW pricing.

The KW are priced high I think because of the SS body, probably for superior corrosion resistance.
I could see this feature as a disadvantage, since I am paying for something that I don't need.

I like the way KW rides and feels, but I would not pay the asking price for a set of progressive springs loaded onto a twin-tube design with damper settings you'll probably never use. I would look into something cheaper if tracking is not even on your list.

If it is an advanced shock that is meant for the track as you said, but why pair with progressive springs..

Why does it matter where it was made, as long as it does what you're trying to accomplish? I'll bet you >99% of the people on this forum won't be able to tell what country their coils were made from if they're installed properly and set to similar characteristics.

Again, it's all subjective. The KW's are (or at least I hope because of their price) the better coilover, just depends if you can justify that cost.

I don't own the product. I've only ridden in cars that had V3s and all of them had something in common: comfortable ride but potent enough to go around corners, but for the price, I better hope so!
